Meet Island Batik Ambassador Alison Vermilya!
Please, meet Alison Vermilya, who has been creating for the Island Batik Ambassador Program since 2016! A chemist-by-day and quilter-by-night, Alison has been quilting for over 15 years.

Alison made her first quilt when she was 15. She is co-owner of Honey, Bunny, and Doll Quilt Designs, established in 2013, and has been sharing about her quilting adventures on her blog, Little Bunny Quilts, since 2011. She lives in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with her husband, Daniel, and two rabbits, Clara and Frankie.

Alison enjoys and appreciates all quilting styles! Personally, she tends to stay in the modern traditional category. Her favorite techniques include free motion quilting, strip piecing and machine appliqué.
Starburst Wall Hanging, created for 2019 August Island Batik Ambassador Challenge, Star Light Star Bright. Alison used the fabric from Island Batik Sand Bar collection, designed for Kari Nichols of Mountainpeek Creations by Kathy Engle.
