Another week of striking Lone Star quilts is over and it’s time to revisit them all!

For me, the most satisfying part of the quilt process is the hand stitching.

The most satisfying part to me is seeing the quilt all together!

The most satisfying part of quilting is when I finish hand stitching the binding on a quilt. It is a work of heart.

The most satisfying part of the process for me is the final hand binding when I get to sit with the whole beautiful quilt on my lap and admire it. Thanks for this beautiful blog hop!

It is amazing how different each one is. Showcasing all of this is very inspirational.

I actually like the process of hand stitching the binding down. Choosing my fabrics is my least favorite process but when I am stitching the binding I know I am near finished. This has been a very inspirational week.

I love the binding process. I always finish my quilt projects by hand binding and I like the quiet time it provides as I proceed along the binding. When it’s finished, it’s so satisfying!

For me the most satisfying part is when I see it all come together: when I have chosen the fabric, the pattern, maybe done the cutting and pieced a block or two and can see that it is all going to work, or I’ve pieced the blocks and have layed them out. Whenever it is that I can see that the quilt I have imagined is going to be the quilt I have hoped it would, that is the satisfying part. The rest is just making it happen.

I love the play with the grouping of the fabrics and choosing the pattern that will best show their beauty

I love cutting fabric and seeing the finished project (Sometimes years later)

Picking out the fabrics in the correct colors is my favorite part.

I love the piecing and designing. I love seeing it come together almost magically.

The most satisfying part of the quilting process is putting the last stitch in the binding, then seeing the look on the face of the recipient.

I enjoy the piecing process…Seeing all of the cut pieces come together into the design.

The most satisfying part is when you gift a quilt to someone and they love it and can’t believe you could make something so gorgeous!I love all Island Batik fabrics! I prefer batiks to any other fabric for quilting because of the quality, tight weave and no fraying. These collections are gorgeous and I can’t wait to get some.

I love the final step of adding the binding and using a big-stitch by hand to attach it to the back. This step is the most satisfying and almost crave it! I’m ready to start a new project very soon.
